Recipe from Ciera Farms

Baked in 8 pie shell.


3/4 cup sugar

2 tablespoons cornstarch

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon cloves

2 eggs, separated

1 cup sour cream

1 cup seedless raisins

1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice

How to Make:

Combine the sugar, cornstarch, salt and spices. Blend egg yolks. Add sour cream, raisins and lemon juice. Cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens. Allow to cool. Stir in 1/2 cup chopped walnuts. Pour in the pie shell. Top with meringue.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes or until meringue is browned.
